In the meantime, the accommodations have been renovated, enlarged, rebuilt and refurbished a number of times so that they always evolved with time and demand. A number of accommodations have been adapted for care groups and all accommodations have been made wheelchair accessible. The main building also underwent changes. For example, the various rooms were made suitable for parties, meetings, weddings and dinners. A cozy terrace with a playground was also created. In 2008 another major change followed. Namely, 'Hoeve Biestheuvel' became 'Landgoed de Biestheuvel' by reorganizing the agricultural land into an estate with the planting of forests and grassland. The stream running through the estate regained its original meandering form and thus the grounds were developed into the form we still know today.
